nita + brett | married

Nita and Brett were married on a beautiful day in NoDa - one of my favorite parts of Charlotte! I'm so glad I was able to second shoot for Lauren Friday again. The day was perfectly classic, with personal touches of the bride and groom throughout (like lace from her grandmother's dress wrapped around Nita's bouquet). They decided on a first look, and we loved capturing the sweet, private moment of Nita & Brett seeing each other for the first time on their wedding day. The reception took place at the Mint Museum and was filled with flowers, gorgeous details and happy friends and family. Here are a few of my shots from their big day:

sarah + duncan | married

Early May, I second shot a wedding with Lauren in Uptown Charlotte. The ceremony took place in a timeless cathedral and the reception was just across the block on the 5th floor of the Mint Museum. My favorite part was the "surprise song" at the end - while everyone waited downstairs with sparklers, Sarah and Duncan danced alone to the band's rendition of "Marry Me" in one final, sweet moment to lock in their first night as a married couple.
